Farmhouse accommodation and hospitality
The ANTICO
CASALE in Monteleone, is right outside
the arch of the entrance to the village and goes back
to the end of the 18th century. The stone house was
restored with artistry and careful attention to details
in 2002, respecting local tradition emphasising the
materials used and the architectural elements.
It can accomodate up to eight people and includes:
ON THE GROUND FLOOR
– a spacious kitchen/dining room, fully equipped
(there is even a dish-washer) looks on to the private
car park in order to make unloading the shopping from
the car easier. The large lounge, with a period terracotta
heater, instead opens out onto the rear of the house,
a lovely garden with everything you need to eat outside
in the open-air, facing the open fields and the Appennine
slopes. A very pretty bedroom stands on the ground floor
too, with a beamed ceiling, plus a spotless bathroom.
ON THE FIRST FLOOR –
two bedrooms about 27 sq.mts. in size, which can sleep
six people, as each contains a double bedroom and a
single, plus a washbasin. The rooms communicate thanks
to the upstairs cosy bathroom with tub.
A large and functional laundry containing independent
central heating boiler also looks onto the garden.
This charming country house is the ideal place for the
vacation of an entire family
or for a small group of friends,
for people with an eye for quality and detail.
Furnished tastefully, with a personal touch and a number
of family antiques, it also offers booklets and advertising
material prepared to help you in choosing sight-seeing
and cultural tours, tours of the ‘senses’,
meaning food and wines. Furthermore, there is a ‘house-book’
which is there for guests to leaf through, full, as
it is of practical information and suggestions on how
to render your stay in the territory best.
The TORRE DEL CASTELLO
is immediately outside the main entrance of the Castle
itself and is a very nice apartment of 50 square metres
looking out onto the tiny square of Monteleone which
is dedicated to Byron. Furnished with antiques, it is
composed of a spacious double bedroom, a sitting room
with a fireplace (a sofa-bed can accommodate a third
person), a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette.
The CASA
ROSA (THE PINK HOUSE) Surrounding the Casa
Rosa and reaching beyond the horizon are the colours
of the woods, the fields, the garden and even the vegetable
garden offering its seasonal veggies. Inside the house
we find those same colours on the walls and fabrics
furnishing the beautiful bedrooms and living rooms.
Two independent apartments on two different floors:
APARTMENT 1: 2 master
bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with bathtub, 1 fully-equipped
kitchen giving onto the garden, 1 large living/dining-room;
APARTMENT 2: 1 master
bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 large living room
with a fully-equipped open kitchen.
Only 200 metres away
from Monteleone’s Medieval village, the Pink House
is a combination of modern details and refined antiques
immersed in a relaxing rural atmosphere.
The
Volpe Estate is 12 kms. from Cesena and 25 kms. from
the seaside.
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Special activities and
events can be arranged for small groups staying at our
farmhouses (info@tenutavolpe.it):
Guided tours to the Monteleone Castle, gastronomic tours
and visits to vineyards and olive groves of local producers;
in collaboration with the group “il Telaio”,
weaving courses using a hand-loom, as well as chair-mending
using basket-weaving techniques.
Furthermore, under the artistic direction of the long
established firm Romanò of Bologna, lessons in
flower arrangement, the creation of decorations and
table-centres can be organized, tied to celebrations
and seasonal events, inspired by the four seasons, using
berries, bushes and flowers, picked in the woods of
Tenuta Volpe.
You can go fishing in
one of the ponds on the estate.
